It was never the overly extravagant or costly gifts, but her little details that made everyday things incredibly special. Whether it was an ice cold glass of sweet tea, a pan of biscuits, or chats over a bushel of butter beans, Granny had a unique way of making everyone feel at home. As I’ve grown up from that young girl sitting on the couch with Granny, I have strived to provide that same sense of "home" to everyone who I am blessed to meet.
